Learn How To Turn Off Email notifications On Samsung Galaxy s3

Samsung Galaxy S3 is really amazing smartphone but some features really annoys. Like if you receive any email on your Galaxy S3 device and it creates pesky notification sound. If you want to disable this pesky email notification on Samsung galaxy s3, you can follow following steps:

Move to Apps -> Settings -> Accounts and Sync -> Select the e-mail account you want to turn off the notification for -> Settings -> Again select the account -> Scroll down to Notification Settings -> Select Ringtone -> Select Silent.

Its not so obvious to do so but by following above mentioned instruction you can easily turn off email notification on Samsung Galaxy S3.

This does not work for me. When I go to Accounts and Sync and select the account, there is no option for Settings at that point. I’ve tried the Menu soft key and I’ve tried touching everywhere on the screen to no avail.

Move to apps? Where are apps? I only find accounts and sync through settings on my home page

    My phone the Select Ringtone button is grey-out and cannot press the buttom to select silent.
