Learn How To Disable 4G/LTE On Samsung Galaxy S3

You might be looking to disable 4G/LTE on your Samsung Galaxy S3 device to maximize battery life. You can disable 4G/LTE On Samsung Galaxy S3 by folowing below mentioned steps.

1. First select Settings from the app list.

2. Now select Data usage (More…)

3. Now tap Mobile networks.

4. Now choose Network mode.

5. Now choose the CDMA setting.

With this selection, your Galaxy S3 device will connect only to the 3G network. Anytime if you feel to use 4G, simply switch the setting back to LTE / CDMA.

I don’t have a “Network Mode” option under the Mobile Network Settings menu. What do I do?

  If you own verizon’s galaxy s3, you can install app called “Phone Info” and open it, and move to “Device information.” From there, scroll down to the pull down menu which probably says “LTE/CDMA/EvDo” and opt “CDMA auto (PRL)” to turn your phone into a 3G,

aye i have sprint and everytime i turn on the lte/cdma from the settings it doesn’t change anything..i still get 3g signal..how come 4g doesn’t show on top?

  because sprint has no 4g coverage accept in like 2 cities

My network mode is gsm/wcdma . I want to change it but I can’t change because its not opening. Plz help me
